After almost a 1000 vehicle drawing in Rickeys' life; we have a departure here worth noting.
The last of my first 12  Vellum renderings; done for the 2025 calendar of "Vehicles of 2000-9".
Vellum allows you to see marker and pastel applied to back and front of its surface. This allows the designer to be more sensitive to the eye. All by hand with ChartPak Markers, pastel and gouache highlights! Rickey being a Pratt trained car designer adds to substantiating the products worth. Coupled with Rickeys' 3 decades of teaching "Design Delineation" at Kean U and Pratt; we must see the value of each of his examples here. After hundreds of comissions thru Rickeys life he knows the work will find its way to the children of the buyer; after their death. A fantastic way of remembering your dad with this fine rendering of the famiy car you grew up in. Hopefully it wasn't radio deleat!
